Confidence Is Built, Not Found
We often think confidence is something people either have or don't have. We admire those who seem fearless, decisive, and self-assured, assuming they woke up one day believing in themselves. The reality is much different.
Confidence isn't something you discover it's something you build.
It develops through experience. It grows each time you do something that feels uncomfortable, speak up when your voice shakes, set a boundary that protects your peace, or choose yourself in a situation where you normally wouldn't. These moments may seem small, but they're the foundation of lasting self-confidence.
One of the biggest misconceptions about confidence is that it comes before action. We tell ourselves, "Once I feel more confident, I'll apply for the job. I'll start therapy. I'll leave the relationship. I'll set the boundary. I'll chase the dream."
